On Tuesday 21 October 2025, the residential care workforce across Queensland gathered for CareCONNECT 2025, a landmark conference hosted by PeakCare in partnership with the Queensland Government at Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane. The event brought together 300 frontline workers, sector leaders and decision-makers, offering a rich program of keynote addresses, panel discussions, and workshops.

With a focus on connections, lived experience, and professional insights, CareCONNECT 2025 created an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with their “why”, build new practice skills, reflect, connect with colleagues, harness the power of collective impact, and re-energise their shared commitment to supporting children, young people and families.
